not really. only when you want to become 'member', to have lots of extra goodies. but that's waste of money.

jagex, the runescape company thingie is now 'improving' the game... that really sks. there used to be a wilderness where you could go playerkilling, but they now removed the ability to kill others and made a small cave where you can do that. soooo stupid.
