Hey, I'm back after all these months I wasn't really into forums for a while, but I've decided to come back now I've bought a new laptop. It's really awesome and very fast as well.

I've got to go back to school next week... even though we haven't even had any summer-like weather yet -,- although my May-holidays were really sunny and warm.

Has anyone been watching the Olympic Games? I've been watching everything I could, from taekwondo, judo and gymnastics to athletics, cycling and swimming.

So how's Japan, Halad?

A new laptop? Lucky you. I've been watching the Olympics, too, since it's been the only thing to watch on TV for a while. In Japan they show only Japan - so boring. I've watched Korea win in baseball, though, and Michael Phelps win all the gold medals for swimming, lots of judo, synchro swimming, etc, etc. So yeah. It was all right.

Japan? It's okay, I guess... It's been really hot in July but it's cooled down now. I've just been studying, studying, studying - you know, for Japanese school. Oh, and I went to tons of video stores and bookstores(Tsutaya, Maruzen, Kinokunyia, etc...), cause I'm really into movies and books nowadays. XD

Have you heard of The Dark Knight, Globox?

By the way, I'm nearly done with Inkspell took me a loooong loooong time.

Ohh, poor you! I need to get my schedule on Monday, and I start school on Tuesday

Michael Phelps rocks! He's just the best swimmer there is, I guess.

The Netherlands aimed to reach a place in the top-10 this time, and we did but in the last few days Ukraine and France passed us so we ended up 12th... and there were lots of disappointments for us.... Theo Bos didn't win anything in cycling, we only won one medal in indoorswimming... and Epke Zonderland went home without a medal, too...

South Korea was seventh this year. Won two medals in swimming, thanks to our high school swimmer Park Tae Hwan... Won a ton of stuff in archery, which is what Korea's best at, won gold in baseball, set the world record in weightlifting, etc, etc... 30-something medals in total, I think. How many for the Netherlands?

I'm gonna fail at school... *Sighs*

I guess the Netherlands isn't too big on blockbuster movies? The Dark Knight's the second-highest grossing movie ever in the US, biggest of the summer so far. And it's a monsterously great film, too. We had 7 gold medals, 5 silver and 4 bronze ones. Pretty good I reckon, we're the first small country when you go from #1 and down.

Our gold medal winners were:
-Marianne Vos in cycling
-women's waterpolo
-women's hockey
-Maarten van der Weijden in outdoor swimming
-women's estafette in indoor swimming
-Marit van der Kolk and Kirsten van Eupen in rowing
-women's eight in rowing

As you can see only one gold medal was won by a male... The male part was really disappointing.

I think there are lots of movies in the USA and around there which we don't have here. Many people here find Batman a bit of a... cliché. Maybe that's because of the older movies they made of him. And girly girls here only go to girly girl movies. Now I'm not a girly girl so I mostly watch fantasy, action, sciencefiction...

So why are you gonna fail school? It'd be hard for me 'cause I haven't even started yet

School? Well, the fact that I'm going to Japanese school and I don't even know how to speak Japanese... So yeah. That's why. The day after tomorrow now, ahhh!

Batman... Well, The Dark Knight's unlike any other Batman film ever made. Insanely realistic, frightening, and the action... God. I couldn't breathe when I was watching it. It's a crime drama, not really a superhero movie any more. So I think that's why people love it so much. And the acting was fantastic, too - it's an amazing movie. If you ever get the chance, don't miss it. You'll regret it...

Anyways... Tomorrow's gonna be my last day of posting - until next week, 'cause I'm starting schoo. So yeah....
